Job Contributions and Key Responsibilities:
Labor Law Compliance:
- Audit compliance and harvest table boards to ensure all required documentation is posted.
- Conduct audits to ensure Live Our Values posters are located on all portable bathroom units.
- Review crew leader boxes to ensure all required forms are available.
People Connect HCM
- Assist Production with Hiring & Onboarding of field employees as required.
- Become an expert user on all processes related to HR functions in HRIS database.
- Track and Audit daily hires by reviewing electronic documents to ensure accuracy and be 100% compliant.
- Assist File Clerk with filing all personnel documents electronically under each employee’s record. (Ex; W-4s, VOE, EDD Letters, Address Changes, Electronic Authorization Forms, etc.)
- Process Address and personal information change requests in HCM
Benefits and Leaves of Absence Management
- Ensure a benefits application is on file for all employees via report running, field outreach efforts and new hire orientation attendance and support.
- Support Benefits Specialist in assisting employees with benefits questions, enrollment, information, or requests for medical ID cards at ERC.
- Support management of personal and medical leaves of absence requests from initial request to return to work releases.
- Process all LOA and Workers Comp TTD Pans in HCM.
- Support open enrollment efforts such as education of changes to benefits programs and gathers enrollment forms.
Training
- Coordinate Orientation training for new or recently promoted crew leaders and supervisors to ensure they are up to date with Company policies and procedures.
- Ensure sexual harassment trainings completed by participants have been tracked & entered successfully into HR database.
Organizational Development
- Support HR Field Generalists and OD Manager on the success of leadership trainings by reminding attendees of training times and location.
- Support with set-up and teardown of training space, prepare learning materials as requested by OD Manager/HR Generalist, and provide refreshments/snacks.
Administrative Support
- Provide backup to human resources department receptionist, data entry and filing clerks.
- Process employment verifications (including EDD) and file in employee document records.
- Assist production with requests to activate employee sick hours in EBS, as requested.
- Process layoff termination paperwork utilizing Mass Layoff spreadsheets received from Production and file a copy in employee document records.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned

- Fluency in English and Spanish required
- Fluency in Mixteco; desired but not required
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, listening and presentation

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
