Job Summary: The Landscape Manager is responsible for coordinating through efficient scheduling the landscape and snow removal needs of client properties and grounds both year-round and seasonally. This position requires face-to-face client interaction where customer service is a core responsibility. This position reports to the Director of Hardline Operations. Reporting to this position are the Landscape & Snow Removal Technicians.
Supervisory Duties:
Working with the HR Department, recruits, interviews, hires, and trains management-level staff.
The Landscape Manager is responsible for mentoring and building up direct reports by fostering growth opportunities and promoting the next leaders within the Company.
Continue to foster an environment where the Company promotes from within.
Oversees the daily workflow of the division and reports back to the President.
Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations, per company policy.
Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Follow all Safety procedures and lead the team by example. This includes conducting weekly safety huddles and training opportunities as they arise.
Primary Duties:
Responsible for managing residential landscape installation projects of various sizes, timelines, and costs.
Serves as the primary contact for clients, answering any questions and guiding them through the project in a timely and professional manner.
Attend design and project meetings with clients as needed.
Responsible for drafting proposals and contracts for projects on all landscaping services.
Coordinate with other division managers to ensure client satisfaction is obtained through various phases of construction projects.
Ensures all permits (state and local) have been secured and posted.
Responsible for ordering project materials, especially those that need to be pre-ordered.
Schedule all snow and ice maintenance throughout the winter season.
Working alongside the Relationship Managers coordinates billing for all projects and maintenance for clients.
Expected to join the team in the field on technical builds and maintenance, when the Landscape Foreman is unavailable.
Responsible for training the Landscape staff on the safe use of Company equipment.

Additional trade school education would be appreciated.
Experience:
3-5 years of landscape construction experience and/or project management experience.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
May be asked to lift 50lbs as needed and able.
Exposed to seasonal temperatures and inclement weather.
Must possess an up-to-date Medical Card.
A valid Commercial Driver’s License Class B is preferred.
