Job Summary:
The Outbound Manager will oversee all aspects of outbound logistics and shipping operations within our 3PL facility. This key leadership role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who can manage day-to-day outbound operations, ensure the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders, and drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency. You will lead a team of warehouse and logistics staff to meet the needs of our customers and ensure the smooth and cost-effective flow of goods from our warehouse to their destinations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Outbound Management: Supervise and manage all outbound activities, including order picking, packing, staging, shipping, and delivery.
· Team Leadership: Lead, train, and develop outbound operations staff to maintain high productivity, quality, and safety standards.
· Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for outbound operations, including order accuracy, shipping timelines, and cost per order.
· Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiencies in outbound logistics.
· Inventory Management: Coordinate with inventory and procurement teams to ensure adequate stock levels and prevent stockouts or delays in order fulfillment.
· Quality Control: Ensure that all outgoing shipments meet quality standards and customer specifications.
· Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment for all outbound team members.
· Customer Communication: Work closely with customer service and other departments to address any shipping or fulfillment issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
· Technology & Systems: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS),and other tools to optimize outbound operations and tracking.
Qualifications:
· 2 years of experience in outbound logistics, warehouse management, or a similar role in a 3PL or distribution environment.
· Proven experience leading teams in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse setting.
· Strong knowledge of outbound shipping processes, inventory control, and logistics management.
· Familiarity with WMS, and other logistics technologies.
· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
· Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehousing and logistics.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.01 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
