Requirements Of The Housing Choice Voucher Supervisor
- Experience: A minimum of five years in overseeing and managing programs related to housing assistance or affordable housing, with at least two years in a supervisory role. A bachelor's degree in areas such as business administration, public administration, social sciences, or a related discipline is required. Equivalent combinations of relevant education and experience that meet the necessary criteria may be considered.
- Expertise: Solid understanding of program development, monitoring, and assessment methods. Familiarity with the core principles of public administration, housing management, community support resources, contract negotiation, legal procedures, and municipal budgeting practices.
- Technical Proficiency: Adept at using record-keeping systems such as Visual Homes, Emphasys, QualCheck, QualTrack, as well as standard software tools like Word, Excel, and other related programs.
- In-office role. (Client will consider out of state candidates.)
