Requirements Of The Senior Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field such as Business Administration.
- Strong analytical abilities, with an eye for detail, adept at multitasking, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
- Effective in engaging and influencing various levels within the organization, as well as liaising with external stakeholders.
- Adaptable work ethic with a proven ability to manage shifting priorities successfully.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles specific to midstream operations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact seamlessly with colleagues, management, external auditors, and industry producers.
- Advanced problem-solving skills, with a solid track record of analyzing complex issues and recommending effective solutions.
- Proactive in keeping management and peers informed on key developments and issues.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Experience in the oil and gas sector is essential, with a preference for those with midstream exposure.
- This role does not offer relocation assistance.
- Minimal travel is expected, ranging from 0-5%.
- This position follows a hybrid work schedule: in-office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; remote on Wednesday and Friday. Work hours are 9 hours Monday-Thursday and 4 hours on Friday.
