IT Manager

Description

• Establish and implement strategic direction for the IT department.
• Develop technology solutions that anticipate organizational needs while ensuring cost-effectiveness, reliability, and compatibility with existing and emerging technologies.
• Guide the development and enforcement of technology-related policies and procedures.
• Oversee IT service desk operations, ensuring performance management and exceptional customer support.
• Manage systems administration, network infrastructure, and enterprise storage, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Ensure continuous delivery of IT services by managing service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Oversee cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and Office 365 administration.
• Lead IT projects, including project plan development, implementation, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technology-related challenges and opportunities.
• Provide expertise in Microsoft server technologies, VMware, database support, and WAN infrastructure.
• Ensure the security, efficiency, and reliability of IT systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, science, or a related field is required.
• 5-7 years progressive experience in IT or related fields, including 3 years in management roles with significant business impact
• Previous supervisory experience required
• Strong leadership traits with urgency, ownership, and results orientation
• Exceptional problem-solving and creative skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment
• Broad knowledge and experience in IT operations, including:
  • IT service desk management and technical support.
  • Systems administration, enterprise storage, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Microsoft server technologies and Office 365 administration.
  • Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware).
  • WAN infrastructure and network support for remote users and facilities.
• Certifications (Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified, etc.) preferred
• Strong proficiency in Tier 3 technical support, including complex troubleshooting
• Expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, and Microsoft Intune

The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000. Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, other business and organizational needs, and applicable employment laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
