Medical Coder III

Description

• Perform coding validation on medical records and and validate medical coding findings in software application
• Interpret and apply RADV policy and manual guidance
• Perform coding validation review of inpatient, outpatient, and physician office medical records in accordance with Risk Adjustment Data Validation (RADV)

Qualifications

• CCS, RHIA, RHIT, or CPC certification
• A minimum of five (5) years experience in coding general acute hospital (inpatient and outpatient ) and multi-specialty physician office medical records by applying CPT and ICD coding guidelines
• Previous RADV coding experience preferred

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 to $86,000.00. Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, other business and organizational needs, and applicable employment laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
