Key Responsibilities Include:
- Team Leadership & Culture
- Serve as the primary point of contact for caregivers, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship.
- Uphold a zero-tolerance policy for disrespect or harassment, ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for staff and clients.
- Scheduling & Coverage Management
- Coordinate daily and weekly schedules, matching caregivers’ skills and availabilities with client needs.
- Troubleshoot last-minute changes or call-offs, quickly reallocating staff to avoid care gaps.
- Maintain accurate records of hours worked, shift changes, and client assignments.
- Caregiver Support & Problem Solving
- Offer ongoing support to address challenges caregivers face, such as difficult client situations or personal stress.
- Facilitate conflict resolution among staff or between caregivers and clients, promoting effective communication and mutual respect.
- Provide resources (e.g., training modules, mentorship) to help caregivers improve skills and handle complex care tasks.
- Client Relations & Quality Assurance
- Communicate regularly with clients and their families to evaluate satisfaction and adjust care plans as needed.
- Conduct in-home supervisory visits, ensuring caregivers follow protocols and best practices.
- Oversee compliance with healthcare regulations, agency policies, and client-specific care plans.
- Hiring & Training
- Collaborate with HR to recruit and onboard new caregivers, clearly defining role expectations and company values.
- Identify ongoing training needs and coordinate skill development opportunities (e.g., workshops, certifications).
- Recognize high-performing caregivers with praise, shout-outs, or small tokens of appreciation.
- Administrative & Operational Duties

- Work closely with finance or payroll to verify and approve timesheets.
