Holyoke Manufacturing company currently seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Mechanic for their facility. The position entails smooth operation and maintenance of facilities and equipment and oversees managing maintenance projects, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to effectively manage maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance management strategies to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
- Oversee electrical systems, including low voltage applications, ensuring all work complies with safety regulations.
- Review and interpret schematics for troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems.
- Manage maintenance projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Fabricate parts or components as necessary to support maintenance activities.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and coordinate repairs promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and compliance documentation.
Requirements
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with schematics and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
- Experience in maintenance management practices and methodologies.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
Pay: $25.25 - $26.09 per hour depending on experience
