What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title Clerk/BILLING CLERK position at Reliance Auto Group?
- Verify legal transfer of documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles (all-states).
- Post accounting entries related to all DMV transactions.
- Complete DMV registration paperwork through TitleTec, WebDealer and TitlesDesk.
- Enter all information needed for title administration in computer system.
- Ensure that tax and title documents are promptly and properly completed.
- Promptly and professionally answer all incoming and internal calls.
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission and Value in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.
- Verifies documents for all vehicle sales and posts deals to accounting
- Processes wholesaled vehicle title transfers
- Maintains follow-up on all incoming titles and assigns titles when received
- Identifies internal control issues by reviewing existing policies, verifying changes in authorized personnel, and communicating issues to the Controller
- Processes payoffs on trade-ins and floor plan, pulls contracts
- Verifies Finance and Insurance (F&I) data to documents
- Reconciles inventory schedules as assigned on a weekly and monthly basis
- Verifies documents for all used car purchases and posts to accounting
- Submits aftermarket products weekly
- Processes courtesy deliveries
- Reconciles and reports vehicle inventory tax monthly
- Issues referral checks/ customer cancellations

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
