This job is in the Quality job family (Department), which includes positions the duties of which are to perform, administer, or advise on work concerned with assuring the quality of Bralco products The work of this series involves the development of plans and programs for achieving and maintaining product quality throughout the item's life cycle, monitoring operations to prevent the production of defects and to verify adherence to quality plans and requirements, and analysis and investigation of adverse quality trends or conditions and initiation of corrective action. The duties of these positions require analytical ability combined with knowledge and application of assurance principles and techniques, and knowledge of pertinent product characteristics and the associated manufacturing processes and techniques.

Job Function:- Responsible for quality assurance and ensuring quality standards are met and maintained to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Measures dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
Examines the quality standards of various products across multiple stages of development and/or delivery.
Inspects, tests, or measures materials, products, installations, and work for conformance to specifications.
Discusses inspection results with those responsible for products and recommends necessary corrective actions
Checks the quality of incoming and outgoing products by conducting tests, monitoring production processes and identifying defects.
Designs appropriate tests and analyzes test data and makes computations as necessary to determine test results.
Maintains test documentation, test execution and champions quality standards with internal/external team members.
Conducts internal and assists with external audits, compares actual conditions with requirements and reports results to management.
Determines whether products and/or processes comply with regulations and/or standards and advises management, as appropriate.
Identifies production problems, notifies supervisors and other staff and corrects problems.
Assists with design and implements quality improvement strategies and initiatives for the company.
Tracks, forecasts, and reports quality data as needed.
Responsible for adhering to/ensuring compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
All other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
- 5 – 10 years of quality control and/or relevant manufacturing or operations experience required
High School diploma/GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Certification in a quality management system preferred.
Broad knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective processing and distribution of material required.
Broad understanding of company product(s) and their uses required.
Broad knowledge of quality control practices and key industry trends required.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
Ability to make sound decisions based on a combination of factors including analysis, knowledge and experience, and judgment required.
Ability to initiate and maintain cooperative relationships with co-workers as well as internal/external customers required.
Strong computer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft applications and/or reporting software required.
AS9120B and ISO 9001:2015 experience preferred.
