Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Distribution Manager to oversee our logistics and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, inventory control, and supply chain processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products are delivered efficiently and effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Manage daily operations of the distribution center, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Oversee inventory control processes, including tracking stock levels, conducting audits, and implementing best practices for inventory management.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to optimize logistics operations and improve overall efficiency.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL).
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing training and support to enhance team performance and productivity.
- Collaborate with supply chain partners to streamline processes and improve service levels.
- Analyze data related to distribution operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role within distribution or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software systems.
- Understanding of supply chain processes, demand planning, and logistics operations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
