Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Distribution Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of products within our warehouse environment. Your primary focus will be on order picking and maintaining a well-organized workspace. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accuracy in fulfilling customer orders.
- Operate forklifts safely to transport goods within the warehouse.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and updates in the warehouse management system.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Build and organize pallets for shipping, ensuring that all items are securely packed for transport.
- Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of materials handling processes.
- Familiarity with order picking techniques and equipment such as forklifts is highly desirable.
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems will be considered an asset.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative in completing tasks independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in all aspects of work.
