Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, and achieving sales targets in the refrigeration and restaurant supply sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and Develop New Business: Identify and pursue potential clients, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, schools and other food service establishments, to drive new business.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with current and prospective clients. Provide exceptional customer service and support to address client needs and concerns.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve or exceed sales targets. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and technologies related to refrigeration and restaurant supplies. Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and solutions to clients.
- Sales Presentations and Negotiations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, demonstrations, and proposals. Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Order Management: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing, timely delivery, and resolution of any post-sale issues.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status. Provide regular reports and updates to sales management.
- Networking and Events: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote products and generate leads.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within the refrigeration or restaurant supply industry is preferred, but not required.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, restaurant equipment, and related products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and business development.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- 3 years of experience in outside sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals or equivalent experience working in a restaurant.
