What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Steel Estimator position at Reliance One, Inc.?
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates and backup documentation for review
- Solicit project specific proposals from material suppliers and evaluate for completeness and competitiveness
- Develop options and recommend best value solutions based on cost, engineering, quality, or availability of materials
- Establish and maintain positive relationships and ethical practices with owners, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Assist operations with awarded contracts and projects as required – may include estimating/pricing change orders and facilitating resolution of any contractual issues
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civis Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction Management
- 7 years of experience in an Estimator role, in the construction industry
- Experience leading hard bids and negotiating proposals for projects
- Experience creating competitive bids and budgets
- Comprehensive knowledge of the latest construction industry standards and practices

Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
