RWC is building a cohort of interns for the Summer of 2025. This will be a challenging opportunity to build skills in your field and create connections with RWC and peers from other Universities.
Position Summary:
- Supporting role to our factory Quality Engineers.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to the Quality Engineers for process optimization of automated and manual manufacturing processes.
- Design of custom gaging instruments using 3D modeling software and CMM measurement.
- Perform data analysis using Excel software statistical functions to determine process capabilities
- Create audio/video work instructions to support operator training
Qualifications:
Education: 2 years of Pre-Engineering education minimum
Experience:
- This will be a hands-on role. Any previous mechanical or construction experience would be preferred.
- Computer experience, especially Microsoft Excel and 3D modeling is is preferred.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
- This position will fully onsite in Cullman, AL
- Internship will be Full-time
- Internship will have travel involved including a kick-off in Atlanta and Operations immersion week in Cullman, AL
