Location: Sodus, New York Disclaimer: Reliant headquarters are located at 10 Benton Place, Sodus, New York. The position will allow for some remote work flexibility; however, an in-person presence at our headquarters is expected. 

Schedule: Monday - Friday. Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs.

General Summary:

Reliant Credit union, ranked one of Rochester's top mid-sized workplaces eight years in a row, seeks an Technology and Optimization Manager to join our team.

The Technology and Optimization Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's infrastructure, application development, data management and helpdesk functions of the IT department. Works closely with all departments to ensure that the technology infrastructure meets the needs of the organization. Aids in designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's technology infrastructure, as well as making recommendations for improvements.
 

As a Technology and Optimization Manager at Reliant, you will:

• Assists in the design and oversees the implementation of the organization's technology solutions, including hardware, software and application development. This involves ensuring that solutions are reliable, scalable, and secure.
• Ensures that Reliant’s technology infrastructure is properly maintained and supported. Identifies and resolves issues, monitors performance, and makes recommendations for improvements.
• Assists in the development of short- and long-term technology objectives, plans, and priorities necessary to satisfy the operational needs of Reliant.
• Communicates with all levels of management and the Project Management team to coordinate system and staff resource capacity for implementations.
• Ensures effective security of information systems and data through routine backup processes, testing and application of system patches, annual vendor security evaluations, and disaster recovery testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressively more responsible information technology work experience, including at least 2 years of strategic leadership responsibilities; additional related work experience in technology management may be considered in lieu of educational requirement.
• Minimum 5 years of experience coaching and developing employees for high performance.
• Previous data processing experience including networks, PCs, data communications, mainframe and PC programming, and data organization.
• Advanced understanding of network and security principles as related to systems infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose, test, and resolve complex network and server system problems, in both an onsite and remote capacity.
• Strong planning, organization and time management skills, with ability to meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

• Use of keyboard, monitor, telephone, and other standard office equipment.
• Communicate effectively in person and via telephone, video conferencing, email, and written documents.
• Access document equipment and files above and below waist levels.
• Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.

Salary : $95,000 - $135,000
