WHAT MATTERS MOST
To thrive as the Bulk Gases Sales Manager at Reliant Gases, you must bring over 10 years of experience in technical sales, ideally within the industrial bulk gases sector and its associated applications. A proven track record in building and leading high-performing, value-based sales teams, along with expertise in methodologies like Value Based Selling (VBS) or Professional Selling Skills (PSS), is essential. Strong business acumen, particularly in P&L management, will enhance your ability to drive profitability. Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills are crucial for fostering effective collaboration in our fast-growing, family-owned environment.
Additionally, you should be a self-motivated team player who excels in dynamic settings. Regular travel is expected to support team operations and attend important company meetings and events. While the preferred location is Denver, CO, strong remote candidates will be considered for remote work or relocation assistance.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- 10 years' experience in technical sales (preferably in industrial bulk gases their applications and the associated applications equipment)
- Demonstrated success in building, developing and managing high performing value-based sales teams
- Expertise in a value-based sales methodology such as Value Based Selling (VBS) or Professional Selling Skills (PSS)
- Strong business acumen (a positive if familiar with P&L management)
- Excellent leadership, coaching, communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player who can work harmoniously and effectively in a fast-growing family-owned business
- Sales and Marketing experience gained from similar sized or type of organization
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a collaborative, dynamic, and fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel regularly to support team operations and attend company meetings & events
