JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY :
Gases Dispatchers are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Reliant Gases truck delivery for the assigned area. You will play a critical role in ensuring 100% supply reliability for our customers by working with the customer, Reliant drivers, and the various Reliant Gases departments.
JOB DUTIES :
Essential Functions :
- Act as the direct supervisor to assigned truck drivers.
- Schedule deliveries to customer sites.
- Maintain records pertaining to trucks used for projects, including departure times, project destinations, and expected times of return.
- Monitor logs from truck drivers for accuracy, regulatory compliance, and safety issues.
- Monitor driver work hours and project status.
- Monitor weather conditions concerning driving conditions, safety issues, delivery delays, etc.
- Coordinate service calls, supplies, etc. related to trucking operations.
- Respond to and resolve truck and truck driver issues.
