Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plan and learning programs as written and directed by BCBA/BCaBA.
- Collect data on all behaviors targeted and skill acquisition goals.
- Meet with supervisors as needed to analyze information gathered.
- Ensure that documentation is completed and converted in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy and procedures.
- Communicate timely and effectively with supervisors and other members of the team.
- Current certification as a registered behavior technician.
- Ability and willingness to travel between client locations for appointments as assigned in a punctual manner.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of DTT, PECS, PRT, and other ABA
- Maintain current CPR.
- Working knowledge and use of data collection program tools.
- Basic computer experience (Microsoft Office, excel, internet).
- Must be able to maintain various postures such as kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to regularly walk and run for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to transition from sitting to standing and vice versa independently.
- Must be able to utilize quick body movements as may be required by the behavior intervention plan.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds.
- Must be able to transfer/position/transport patients and adaptive equipment.
- Must have the visual ability to read and understand written communication via computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
- Must have the manual dexterity to perform electronic device functions such as data collection.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be willing and able to bring caring to life, maintain enthusiasm, client engagement and utilize knowledge of ABA terms and principles when trained.
