As a Business Development Intern at Relias, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Business Development team. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in collecting and updating contact information, researching target companies, and maintaining accurate data for effective outreach. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING :

Contact Information Collection : Conduct research to identify and collect accurate contact information for potential clients and key decision-makers utilizing both online resources and direct phone interactions.

Phone Outreach : Engage in professional and courteous phone conversations with prospects to gather relevant information and enhance our understanding of their needs and challenges.

Target Company Research : Investigate and analyze target companies, providing comprehensive insights into their business operations.

Data Accuracy Maintenance : Ensure the accuracy and completeness of prospect data withing our systems, keeping databases up-to-date for seamless outreach efforts.

Collaboration : Work closely with the Business Development Representatives and other team members to align efforts and contribute to the overall success of the business development initiatives.

Documentation : Maintain organized and detailed documentation of research findings and phone interactions, ensuring easy access for the boarder team.

Other duties as assigned.

YOU'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE :

Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program.

Experience with excel

Experience with outlook or other email systems.

Strong research and analytical skills.

Effective verbal communication skills for professional phone interactions.

Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy

Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to learn and contribute.

IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT :

Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters approximately 4 days / week.
