Requirements
- State licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Professional or Student Occupational Therapist experience
Responsibilities
- Screening patients
- Performing evaluations and developing initial and interim treatment and discharge plans
- Documenting progress toward identified objectives
- Overseeing Occupational Therapy Assistant(s)
- Developing and implementing new programs/techniques to enhance occupational therapy services
- Conducting patient and family education
- Delivering quality occupational therapy services
- Putting patient service first
- Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
- Pass the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- Graduate degree in Occupational Therapist Assistant from a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE)
- State licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR)
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
