Summary :
The Duchesne Academy Athletics Operations Assistant works with the Head of Athletics and Assistant Athletics Director to maintain the professionalism of the athletics office and program. The incumbent will also act as the first point of contact to fill transportation, facility and other requests received by email or phone. Preference will be given to the candidate with executive-level administrative support experience in a PreK-12th grade, independent school environment.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Manage the processing and recording of all purchase orders, in coordination with the Head of Athletics and Assistant Athletics Director.
- Serve as one of the lead managers of all athletics data, including rosters, game schedules, and officials.
- Manage the Athletic Department's web pages.
- In collaboration with the Head of Athletics, help coordinate banquets and events.
- Work collaboratively with the Duchesne Communications Coordinator for all advertising and special events.
- Make travel arrangements for all teams, including bus, plane, and hotel reservations.
- Work with Booster Club Concessions Director to manage concession stand stock and supplies.
- Serve as the Administrator on duty for games and practices throughout the week.
- Work with the Head of Athletics to design and order team uniforms.
- Manage facility rentals
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Will work in an office environment and outdoors in varying weather conditions; regularly uses close and distance vision for extended periods of time; will use standard office equipment, including an office chair, computer screen, keyboard, mouse, and copy machine for extended periods of time; ability to ambulate around the office and campus; ability to occasionally lift, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds around the office or campus; ability to stand / sit for long periods of time; ability to communicate and understand and follow directions.
