Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage and collect on past due accounts via phone, email, and written correspondence.
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
- Maintain accurate records of all communication and actions related to collections.
- Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Generate and distribute customer statements and invoices.
- Analyze credit reports to evaluate customer creditworthiness.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Prepare reports on account status and collection efforts.
- Assist in month-end closing by providing aging reports and identifying potential bad debts.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for collections and accounts receivable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or collections.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
