Primary Responsibilities
The Business Operations Specialist directly supports the Director, CEO, and other staff members to ensure daily operational and administrative tasks are completed effectively and efficiently. Tasks will be focused on accounting, purchasing, government contracting, and general office administration. To succeed as the Business Operations Specialist, the right candidate should possess excellent organizational and communication skills, professional critical thinking and interpersonal skills, and be able to prioritize multiple tasks.
Requirements & Desired Skills
● In receipt of or actively pursuing a degree in Business Administration; Accounting, HR, or Management preferred
● Professional-level writing skills
● Highly organized and capable of managing several tasks at once
● Professional-level skills with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel
● Discretion & professionalism required as this position will deal with sensitive information
● Experience with Contractor accounting systems preferred but not required
● Experience in an office environment preferred
● Active security clearance or ability to receive and maintain clearance
