Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform in-house pump repairs, including:
- Initial assessment and teardown
- Measuring fits and cleaning components
- Specifying parts (e.g., seals) and completing reassembly
- Generating detailed repair reports
- Operate and maintain electrical and mechanical test equipment.
- Identify and document required parts using manufacturer diagrams and assist with procurement.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to enhance production processes.
- Handle pumps of various types and sizes, up to 200 horsepower.
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated and service-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
- Experience in pump or motor repair is preferred.
