Mow Crew Lead

Job Summary: The Mow Team Lead will supervise and coordinate labor workers to ensure well-maintained scope of work, proper use of tools, and responsible allocation of resources. This person will assign tasks, train workers, and monitor performance.

Responsibilities:

• Delegating tasks and overseeing the use of tools and equipment
• Recruiting and training new crew members
• Assessing progress and making recommendations
• Ensuring all crew members obey health and safety regulations at all times
• Overseeing the each job and ensuring timely completion
• Completing inventory checks and equipment inspections
• Preparing spreadsheets and other documents
• Providing cost, material, equipment and time estimates
• Scheduling training sessions wherever required
• Summer: Multiple levels of Lawn Care including: mowing, trimming, weed pulling, and spring/fall cleanup services
• Snow removal in the winter time. Includes: Hand shoveling snow, snow blowing, and pushing snow with skid or truck

Requirements:

• High school diploma (preferred)
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping
• 2 years experience working in landscaping and/or lawncare
• Experience in a leadership role would be advantageous
• Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions to employees
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and jobs at the same time
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Good stamina and physical health
• Must have their own transportation and a cell phone

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

• Grounds Maintenance & Landscaping Occupations: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:
