We're seeking a dynamic Electro-Mechanic Supervisor to join our team and make a difference in the lives of residents in long-term care facilities.
Location : Rosedale, MD
Salary range : $86,000 - $90,000 annually
Schedule : 1st Shift, Monday – Friday with the ability to fill in when needed

Key Responsibilities :
As an Electro-Mechanic Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating production equipment to optimize availability, quality and speed inclusive of both mechanical and electrical subsystems. You will manage Electro-Mechanics and work closely together with Operations Manager and Production Supervisors to help direct operation of the Dispensing Systems. Other responsibilities include :
Responsibilities will include maintenance of production equipment :Maintain and / or improve system performance to design specifications.Perform routine maintenance and inspections on dispensing and unit dose packaging equipment within priorities and on time.Operate Dispensing Systems and perform Shift Lead duties, ensuring that the System is operated as designed and runs are completed on time.Troubleshoot system issues and take corrective actions independently, while minimizing production downtime. Highlight system issues for permanent corrective actions and process improvements.Requisition repair materials, machine components and parts. Maintain and organize spare parts inventory.Responsible for assembly and testing of various mechanical devices and complete systems according to blueprints, written or verbal specifications with minimal supervision. Documentation and / or specifications may be ambiguous.Define training and preventive maintenance programs to optimize and maintain equipment.Use of computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders, calibrations and spare parts.Monitor spare part usage
Order spare parts to ensure proper inventory levelsTrainingTrain production operators / employees / EM’s as appropriate for set-ups, operation of all equipment, etc.
Review and provide constructive feedback for shift passdowns and completed work orders.Provide scheduling and coordinate coverage for Electro-Mechanic vacationsResponsible for arranging for coverage during personnel shortages and covering when need arisesAssigning tasks to Electro-Mechanics and tracking completionResponsible for safety compliance personally and with equipment.Coordinates and participates in special projects and / or rebuilds.Liaison between Remedi and outside contractors for HVAC, Generator and Air Compressor systems.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Packaging Engineering, or related Engineering field (Chemical, etc.) is preferred but not requiredSkills & Abilities :
3-6 years of electro-mechanic experience in a manufacturing environmentProficient in use of power tools / measuring devicesBasic background in general machine shop practices and experience with 220V powerProject management and / or supervisory experienceProficient using all manual machine shop equipment such as mills, lathes, grinders, hand tools etc.Able to read drawings and schematicsAble to adapt to changing conditionsClarest is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
