Remedy Intelligent Staffing - Western NY Region is seeking a skilled Warehouse Manager to oversee operations in a high-volume warehouse setting. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of 35-50 employees, supporting and coaching them to optimize efficiency, and driving process improvement.
Salary: The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 base plus profit sharing bonus and holiday pay.
Job Description
- Oversee shipping/receiving operations, coordinate/loading/unloading 3-4 trucks per day; picking/packing/shipping up to 5000 orders/day (via UPS/FedEx) and ensuring all packing slips/relevant documentation is verified and entered into the system.
- Oversee the returns process, evaluating items for disposition (re-stock, repair or dispose) each returned item, up to 400 packages per day.
- Coordinate, oversee and assist in making sure inventory counts are completed and accurate along with researching any reported quality control issues.
- Supervising, training and delegating work to the department; coaching, guiding and working right alongside your team to optimize efficiency.
- Work closely with the Facilities Supervisor with regards to infrastructure.
- Drive process improvement, managing fluctuating labor needs and ensure optimal workflow throughout the entire warehouse.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- HS Diploma/GED required.
- AT LEAST 5 years of warehouse experience; 3 specifically in a warehouse leadership role within a high volume warehouse/distribution center.
- Flexible schedule.
- Hands on leadership style; willing to roll up your sleeves and do the work alongside your team members.
- Strong computer skills; prior experience with Netsuite is especially valuable.
