Mid-Level IT Support Technician
Remington Computer Services is an RI-owned and operated Managed Service Provider (MSP). We manage, repair, set up, configure, and protect IT environments for small to medium-sized businesses. Whether our clients’ businesses are accounting, dentistry, construction, elder care, home restoration, or anything else, we handle their IT needs. We are a proactive IT solution for business owners who understand how critical their IT infrastructure is to their business but do not have an internal IT department to manage it.
We are looking for an individual who has previous MSP experience as well as broad IT experience and a great desire to learn and grow with technology.
We do a lot of everything – server deployment and troubleshooting, automation, networking, storage, desktop engineering and support. We are looking for the type of person who is motivated by a constantly changing technology landscape and is not tied down to the way things have been done previously. This individual should be high energy and interested in career growth through learning and taking on new challenges.
We are located in Lincoln, RI but currently moving Warwick, RI. We service customers throughout RI, as well as nearby MA and CT.
Mid-Level IT Support Engineer Experience:
- Experience working for a managed service provider is a must.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience working independently
- Experience troubleshooting and administering Microsoft Windows 10/11
- Solid Experience administering Microsoft O365.
- Maintained ticket updates for reported incidents and experience with the help desk ticketing system (ConnectWise, Kaseya, ServiceNow, etc.)
- Understanding of TCP/IP/VPN
- Experience with Firewall & Router Appliances preferred but not required
- Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware
- Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, and printers.
- Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot computers, laptop and peripherals.
