We are seeking an experienced and strategic Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our recruitment efforts and drive our company’s ability to attract and retain top talent. This role will oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, manage key hiring initiatives, and develop and lead strategies that align with our company’s long-term goals. The Talent Acquisition Manager will also manage searches directly while leading and mentoring a team of two Talent Acquisition Specialists ensuring a streamlined and consistent hiring experience. In addition to talent acquisition, this role will oversee offboarding processes and support onboarding efforts to ensure a seamless employee experience. This role requires a creative, solutions-oriented mindset, the initiative to continuously improve hiring processes, and a commitment to consistency in recruitment practices, candidate experience, and employer branding.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
Strategic Recruitment, Talent Acquisition & Marketing
- Develop and implement a strategic talent acquisition plan that aligns with business objectives, supports workforce planning needs, and positions the company to attract top talent in a highly competitive market.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for key roles, including executive and highly specialized positions.
- Partner with department leaders to proactively forecast hiring needs and develop customized recruitment strategies.
- Lead recruitment marketing efforts, including employer branding initiatives, social media campaigns, career site enhancements, and targeted outreach to attract top talent.
- Leverage employer branding, market insights, and data-driven decision-making to attract top talent.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
- Ensure a best-in-class candidate experience by optimizing the hiring process, communication, and employer brand positioning.
- Train and guide hiring managers in interview best practices, selection techniques, and inclusive hiring.
- Partner with HR and leadership to improve overall talent retention and engagement strategies.
- Continuously assess and improve recruitment workflows, ensuring alignment with company growth and industry best practices.
- Stay updated on federal, state, and local employment laws across all current and future company locations, ensuring recruiting practices remain compliant and making adjustments as needed.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment tools, and AI-driven solutions to enhance sourcing and hiring efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with universities, industry associations, and professional networks to expand talent pipelines.
- Identify opportunities to improve the employee experience throughout the hiring, onboarding, and offboarding lifecycle.
- Partner with the HR team to manage and improve the offboarding process, ensuring smooth transitions, compliance with company policies, and a positive employee exit experience.
- Conduct and analyze exit interviews to capture valuable feedback and identify trends to inform retention strategies.
- Support the transition of new employees by working with HR team to streamline onboarding workflows and ensuring a positive first impression.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Talent Acquisition team in alignment with the company’s management standards and core values, ensuring their success in sourcing and hiring top talent.
- Establish, track and utilize recruitment performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement in time-to-fill, quality of hire, and candidate experience.
- Foster a high-performance culture, encouraging innovation and efficiency in talent acquisition strategies.
- Proven success in managing recruitment strategies and driving hiring initiatives at an organizational level, preferably within a multi-location, multi-state company.
- Strong experience in full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Experience in consulting engineering, construction, or other highly technical industries preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- High proficiency in ATS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and other HR technology, with experience leveraging data-driven recruitment analytics to optimize hiring strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field preferred, OR equivalent experience in talent acquisition.
- 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, including at least 2 years leading a team.
- Valid driver’s license, and ability to travel to regional offices and career fairs as needed.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or other talent acquisition or HR certifications preferred, but not required.
