Job description
Property Management Company accepting resumes for the position of Maintenance Technician for our Burlington, NC area to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
- Respond to residential work orders (repair, replace, etc)
- Fix/Change Locks
- Hang blinds
- Caulking
- Repair/Replace Drywall
- Make-ready repairs for all move-outs
- Remove, transfer, replace heavy appliances
- Assists in keeping grounds neat and free of litter
- Assist in unit inspections with the Site Manager
- Must have the ability to select appropriate materials needed for the property
- Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. maintaining the cleanliness of the property) and other tasks as assigned
- Must be aware of the condition of apartments and the overall property and immediately initiate action to correct unsafe conditions
- Maintain consistent work flow of maintenance building, including cleanliness and organization.
- Performs on-call emergency service as requested. All emergency after hours calls must be responded to applicably
- Completes all service requests within 24 hours, unless the request requires extraordinary parts or labor.
- Must possess basic set of tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
