Trust Accounting Specialist
We're on the hunt for a sharp Trust Accounting Specialist to work directly with the Client attorneys and the Trust Operations team. The position is a non-exempt position in the Boston office, providing in-person support and services Monday – Friday. It is ideal for someone who is looking for a challenging role offering the opportunity to grow and develop.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews the daily reconciliation of cash and prepares bi-monthly bank reconciliations.
- Reviews all banking activity; monitors and compiles the outstanding check list, follows up on the status of stale checks.
- Processes all Account Openings and Account Closings.
- Calculates income accruals, money market interest and trustee fees.
- Provides backup services for the Operations Department as needed.
- Provides backup support for the Trust Operations Manager and Director.
- Prepares asset valuations using EVP EstateVal.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College degree in Accounting, Finance or related study.
- Three years’ experience in Trust Operations or Accounting.
- Experience and demonstrated proficiency working with numbers and software programs required.
Salary : $70,000 - $78,000
