Job Title: Bookkeeper/ Staff Accountant

Location: Mount Holly, New Jersey

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year

Employment Type: Full-Time (In-office)

Job Summary:

We are a quickly growing company looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team in Mount Holly, NJ. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts payable and a solid understanding of accounting principles. This is an in-office position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall accounting function. A BS in Accounting or Finance is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily and monthly accounts payable payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure financial data integrity.
• Prepare daily receipts and related reports.
• Update and maintain monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Assist with payroll processing, including timecard entry and supporting HR tasks.
• Prepare and analyze customer settlement reports.
• Work collaboratively with the accounting team to provide support as needed.
• Assist with additional accounting tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of accounting experience, with a strong background in accounts payable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software; QuickBooks experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
