RemX is seeking Field Service Engineers for one of our top clients!
We are looking for Field Service Engineers to work on Industrial Packaging Machinery and it's accompanying PLC's. We are seeking candidates with a background in packaging, automation or industrial machinery who also have PLC experience.
Pay is $35-$45 Hourly BOE
4-6 week deployments (After each deployment you will have a 2-5 day period back home)
FSE's will use own CC's for expenses - expenses reimbursed weekly
Duties
Perform Installation, startup and commissioning of equipment supplied to customers' sites
Develop a good understanding of the customer needs to provide objective advice and to ensure customer satisfaction
Prepare Job Progress Chart and technical reports in reference to carried-out activities
Perform activities in line with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), coordination plan rules and customer rules
Report after-sales opportunities detected on the Customer site
Test and evaluate equipment performance at the customer plant, based on technical, contractual and safety specifications
Properly handle, check and manage equipment non-conformities
Mechanical and process set-up of the equipment order to secure reliability and reach performance specifications
Requirements
Clean background, clean driving record, current passport
2 years experience in field service in industrial equipment
Experience with Mechanical parts assembly, measurements, etc
Execute basic electrical work (e.g. cable wiring) and PLC tests and fixes.(PLC programming a plus)
English fluency
Experience in the beverage industry is a plus
Availability to travel (minimum 200 days per year)
