We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial and operational data, developing forecasts, and generating actionable insights to support key business decisions. You will also play a pivotal role in creating and managing financial models, preparing comprehensive reports, and contributing to strategic planning and budgeting efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial performance metrics, identifying trends, variances, and potential risks to inform business strategies.
- Develop and manage the company’s annual budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate business scenarios, support decision-making, and predict potential outcomes.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management, stakeholders, and Board of Directors, including monthly and quarterly financial results.
- Monitor industry trends and provide recommendations to senior leadership based on market and financial developments.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with credit agreements and debt covenants.
- Identify financial and business risks and propose strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide financial insights that support operational and strategic decisions.
- Develop and implement automated reporting and forecasting tools to improve data efficiency and reporting accuracy.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills with a deep proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the ability to present complex financial information to stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience analyzing financial statements.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.
- A strong interest in the logistics or supply chain industries is a plus.
