Job Description :
As a Leasing Agent for our luxury apartment complex, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to prospective residents, guiding them seamlessly through the leasing process from initial inquiry to move-in. Your focus will be on ensuring high occupancy rates, maintaining strong relationships with residents, and promoting a welcoming and vibrant community atmosphere. You will help elevate the resident experience while representing the property's upscale reputation.
Responsibilities :
Meet with potential tenants and guide them on tours of available units, highlighting key features and amenities
Follow up with leads to convert prospects into new residents
Conduct background and credit checks to ensure prospective tenants meet property qualifications
Prepare leasing documents that comply with property standards, regulations, and best practices
Collect rent payments, security deposits, and application fees
Keep residents informed about any changes to rental agreements or upcoming property updates
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing tenants, offering personalized, white-glove service
Oversee community areas such as mailrooms, fitness centers, and laundry rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-maintained
Assist with general office duties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
Requirements :
2-4 years of experience as a leasing agent or in a related sales role
Strong understanding of the real estate industry, including laws, policies, and best practices
Proven sales and marketing experience with a friendly, professional, and outgoing demeanor
Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills
Proficiency with Yardi Software is REQUIRED
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Be goal, team and deadline oriented
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively while working collaboratively within a team
