We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing tax returns, supporting external audits, and collaborating with senior accountants to ensure smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Carefully review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare and file tax returns in alignment with current tax laws and regulations.
- Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems and maintain well-organized records for easy retrieval and reference. Evaluate account books to identify potential areas for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Bank Reconciliations : Perform monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate settlements.
- Audit Support : Assist in preparing documentation for external audits and provide necessary support throughout the audit process.
- Team Collaboration Work closely with senior accountants and the chief financial officer (CFO) to support overall financial strategies and objectives.
