What You’ll Do
The Finance Director plays a key role in managing all financial operations and contributing to the long-term financial stability of our client's long-established non-profit organization. Responsibilities include :
- Overseeing all accounting functions , including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Preparing and presenting monthly financial statements with clear, insightful reporting for executive management and the Board.
- Leading the annual budget process in partnership with the leadership team, ensuring accurate forecasts and allocations.
- Managing cash flow and recommending strategies to maintain healthy reserves.
- Serving as the primary contact for external auditors and overseeing the annual audit process .
- Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures for continued growth and efficiency.
- Administering employee benefits, including retirement and time-off programs , with a focus on employee satisfaction and compliance.
