Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and conducting basic laboratory tests.
- Maintain aseptic technique during procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
- Support patients undergoing IV infusion therapy
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program.
- Valid LPN license with no restrictions from an accredited program.
- Experience in senior care, urgent care, or acute care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and IV infusion practices.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to specialized medical procedures
- Previous experience as a nurse or in pediatric intensive care (PICU) is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.12 per hour
