Healthcare Associate (LPN/CMA)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast paced clinic setting. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

Duties

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and conducting basic laboratory tests.
• Maintain aseptic technique during procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
• Support patients undergoing IV infusion therapy
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program.
• Valid LPN license with no restrictions from an accredited program.
• Experience in senior care, urgent care, or acute care settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and IV infusion practices.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to specialized medical procedures
• Previous experience as a nurse or in pediatric intensive care (PICU) is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.12 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
