Operations Engineering Manager
Duration/Status: Direct Hire/staff employee
Location: Belle Chase, LA
Schedule: 5 days/week, 40 hours/week - all days at the Project Site (remote/hybrid schedule NOT AN OPTION)

Our Client is currently searching for an Engineering Manager who’ll be responsible for providing guidance on technical challenges, assisting with KPI development and tracking, and ensuring the team is delivering to support capital greenfield and brownfield pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering design, scope refinement, cost estimating, development of project design specifications, and support construction
- Oversee project activities of third-party project managers, engineers, construction managers, inspectors, and contractors.
- Influence decisions that improve reliability and operability, reduce operating costs, and create a sustainable competitive advantage.
- Ability to work with stakeholders across the organization to provide engineering support in all phases, design, construction, commissioning, operations.
- Provide timely field construction engineering support on RFI’s.
- Single point accountability for the technical execution and related aspects to achieve project objectives and business intent.
- Ensure overall project technical quality and conformance to plan (scope, budget & schedule).
- Support Change Management functions, Value Improvement Practices, Bid Evaluations, Process and Implementation studies
- Develop executable project plans from concept to handover package for construction execution.
- Ability to lead team meeting and deputy group responsibilities
- Ability to develop/manage and modify KPI’s to track progress
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of twelve years combined experience in Design, Construction, Commissioning, or Operations of Process/Refining/Petrochemical Facilities. LNG facility experience is preferred. Experience representing asset owner in these roles is a plus.
- Minimum of five years multi-discipline engineering management experience, process experience a plus
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and work within project deadlines, and adjust as priorities changes occur
- Ability to utilize 3D Model to aid w/ decision making is a plus
- Possess the ability to mentor others through technical training and guidance on planning, scheduling, and engineering subjects
- Have the ability to read and interpret engineer drawings to include P&IDs, PFDs, C&Es, One Line Diagrams, Isometrics, and Civil/Structural drawings
- Broad knowledge of Codes, Standards, and Industry Best Practices
- Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with cryogenic or liquefaction systems is a plus.
- Ability to work on weekends/off hours during critical periods
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $190,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year
