DESCRIPTION
The Aesthetic Nurse Injector (RN) is responsible for providing elective care for cosmetic complaints that can be reasonably treated with injection and/or laser procedures. Duties include taking medical histories, performing examinations, and developing a treatment plan within their scope of practice for cosmetic patients and treatment administration as directed by their supervising medical professional.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing neurotoxin and filler injections
- Providing education to the patient with relevant information about the procedure and potential side effects of the product being used
- Providing follow up care
- Offering one-on one individualized patient care plans
- Performing various cosmetic treatments such as hair removal, chemical treatments, laser treatments
- Create, present, and review detailed, accurate treatment plan quotes with patients.
- Review pricing, practice specials, and/or financing options with patients.
- Preserve current and/or create new policies and procedures in accordance with all HIPAA requirements to ensure private Health Information remains confidential.
- Remain active in continuing education to ensure knowledge base is current and consistent with expectations of the practice and healthcare industry.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- RN License
- Valid Kentucky State License and current BLS or CPR certification
- Prior Aesthetic Dermatology, Medical Spa and/or Plastic Surgery experience
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with injectables and/or lasers
- Clinically competent, experienced professional capable of providing safe, effective aesthetic treatments with strong anatomy knowledge
- Exceptional communication skills and compassion toward clients and colleagues
- Must be dependable, flexible, reliable, motivated, and punctual
- Passionate about aesthetics, driven to be the most knowledgeable, and technically advanced with skin technology
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must have sufficient mobility to regularly stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the office.
- Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs. and push/pull 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
