Now Hiring: Experienced Landscaper – Inver Grove Heights, MN
Renew Landscaping, located in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, is seeking a motivated, experienced, and hardworking landscaper to join our growing team. We are a small, tight-knit company that takes pride in delivering high-quality landscaping and hardscaping services across the Twin Cities, primarily in Dakota County.
About the Role:
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of two years or two full seasons of hands-on experience in professional landscaping. Please note that basic lawn mowing or yard clean-ups alone do not qualify as relevant experience.
Candidates must have experience in the following services:
Landscaping Services:
- Planting trees, shrubs, and perennials
- Sod installation
- Grading and drainage solutions
- Rock and mulch bed installation and cleanouts
- Landscape edging installation (plastic, metal, stone, etc.)
- Lawn renovations and seeding
- Soil prep and amending
- Project clean-up
Hardscaping Services:
- Retaining wall construction (block, boulder, timber, etc.)
- Paver patio and walkway installation
- Paver and concrete driveways
- Decorative stone installation
- Step and stair construction
- Fire pits and outdoor living features
- Pergolas and small landscape structures
- Gravel paths and pads
Preferred Skills and Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50–80 lbs consistently throughout the day
- Capable of working long hours in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
- Proficient with power tools and small machinery
- Experience operating skid steers, mini-skid steers, and other compact equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Must be punctual, dependable, and eager to learn
- Ability to take direction and work independently when necessary
Bonus if you have:
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Trailer towing experience, loading & chaining heavy equipment
- Leadership experience or desire to grow into a foreman/supervisor role
