Summary
The Administrative Clerk plays a vital role in supporting the operations division of Renew Residential Services. This position is responsible for a variety of clerical tasks, including data entry, auditing and reconciling data, preparation of reports, and maintaining documentation necessary for the effective delivery of care services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while providing high-quality support to the administrative team.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry and maintain accuracy in records and databases.
- Audit, reconcile data, and prepare reports for the operations division.
- Assist in filing, sorting, and organizing documentation.
- Handle correspondence and assist in all matters related to reports and documentation necessary for client services.
- Provide support for billing and claims processing for services rendered.
- Participate in hiring processes and maintain employee records and personnel files.
- Assist with staffing scheduling and respond to operational needs within the administrative division.
- Complete outside tasks that support the administrative team as required.
- Fill in as a Direct Support Professional in cases of staffing shortages.
- Prepare professional reports and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
- Obtain and maintain all required certifications and licenses as regulated by the State of Ohio for Direct Support Professionals.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in administration or related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, DocuSign, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prepare professional and visually appealing reports.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
- Must pass a background check.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
- Ability to perform filing and sorting tasks, which may require bending and lifting.
- Must be able to handle tasks both indoors and outdoors as necessary to support the administrative team.
Required Education, Certifications, Registrations, & Experience
- Valid Ohio Driver License
- Valid car insurance.
- Clerical experience preferred.
- CPR & First Aid Certification.
- All initial and annual training requirements and certifications applicable to maintaining status as a Direct Support Professional as regulated by the State of Ohio.
