Job Description Summary:
- Shift Pattern: 28/28 days on/off rotation
- Work Location: Providence, Rhode Island (with offshore rotation)
- Consultant Must Bring Their Own PC/iPhone (with security requirements)
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate offshore activities, especially on the SOV (Service Operations Vessel).
- Align with logistics planning and report to Offshore Site Manager.
- Ensure adherence to project procedures, processes, and IT tools.
- Participate in safety procedures and investigations.
- Operate the Offshore Management System (OMS) and assist in lessons learned.
- Participate in planning and coordination for daily activities, including offshore personnel.
Tasks:
- Act as the primary point of contact for coordination between contractors, offshore technicians, and vessel crews.
- Liaise with marine coordination for planned activities.
- Ensure safety compliance with PPE and HSE standards.
- Maintain offshore access processes and assist in personnel certification checks.
- Assist in managing offshore cargo and making relevant declarations.
Requirements:
- Mandatory Qualifications:
- GWO courses (Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling).
- BOSIET/HUET including CA-EBS.
- OGUK Medical certificate (including Chester Step).
- Experience:
- Knowledge of vessel and personnel logistics in dynamic offshore environments (preferably offshore wind farm operations).
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and offshore project management.
Desired Skills:
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating offshore activities.
- Familiarity with offshore access processes and logistical planning.
- Strong problem-solving skills in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
Licenses and Certifications:
- GWO certifications.
- BOSIET/HUET.
- OGUK Medical certificate.
