We are looking for an experienced Field Engineer I - Transmission & Distribution to join our team at Renewable Energy Systems.

Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor production and cost to ensure adherence to project budget and schedule.
- Provide accurate daily construction activity data and quantities to the project team.
- Support the project manager and engineers in budget and schedule preparation.
- Measure and report completed work and progress versus the baseline schedule.
- Compile project quality and closeout documentation.
- Track staffing and equipment levels, production quantities, and work with superintendents to measure work quantities and deliver data to the project team.
- Assist superintendents with project schedule preparation.
- Communicate effectively via various channels, including in-person conversations, email, site reports, meetings, and teleconferences as needed.
- Participate in project meetings with engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Support the project manager with client communications, RFIs, submittals, and change management.
- Work closely with superintendents, project engineers, and project cost engineers to ensure timely procurement of labor, equipment, and materials to support the project schedule.
- Communicate variances and changes to the project team.
- Provide feedback to the project engineer to support continuous improvement.
- Perform quality control activities on-site to ensure work is completed in accordance with project plans and specifications.
- Perform quality control checks and provide daily direction to quality control inspectors to implement processes according to the quality plan and inspect work in a timely and consistent manner.
- Utilize and ensure utilization of the Safety Management System (SMS), Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and technical procedures.
- Ensure necessary field surveying and staking out is performed accurately and in accordance with approved construction drawings to support performance of construction work according to the project schedule.
- Work with the project engineer to resolve technical and engineering queries arising from the field, including drafting/completing documents such as requests for information, technical enquiry forms, and transmittals.
- Attend work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
- Comply with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies & Procedures.
- Present a safety- and quality-oriented attitude and lead by example.
- Support engineering and procurement with takeoff, vendor solicitation, and subcontracting.
