Renewable Energy Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer I - Transmission & Distribution to join our team at Renewable Energy Systems.

Key Responsibilities

The following key responsibilities are essential to the success of this role:

• Production monitoring and cost tracking to ensure adherence to project budget and schedule.
• Accurate daily construction activity data and quantities provision to the project team.
• Budget and schedule preparation support to the project manager and engineers.
• Completed work measurement and progress reporting versus the baseline schedule.
• Project quality and closeout documentation compilation.
• Staffing and equipment level tracking, production quantity measurement, and collaboration with superintendents to measure work quantities and deliver data to the project team.
• Project schedule preparation assistance to superintendents.
• Effective communication via various channels, including in-person conversations, email, site reports, meetings, and teleconferences as needed.
• Project meeting participation with engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Client communication, RFI, submittal, and change management support to the project manager.
• Collaboration with superintendents, project engineers, and project cost engineers to ensure timely procurement of labor, equipment, and materials to support the project schedule.
• Communication of variances and changes to the project team.
• Feedback provision to the project engineer to support continuous improvement.
• Quality control activities performance on-site to ensure work is completed in accordance with project plans and specifications.
• Quality control checks performance and daily direction provision to quality control inspectors to implement processes according to the quality plan and inspect work in a timely and consistent manner.
• Safety Management System (SMS), Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and technical procedures utilization and implementation assurance.
• Necessary field surveying and staking out performance accuracy and conformance to approved construction drawings to support performance of construction work according to the project schedule.
• Technical and engineering query resolution with the project engineer, including drafting/completing documents such as requests for information, technical enquiry forms, and transmittals.
• Regular and punctual attendance, as scheduled or expected.
• Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies & Procedures compliance.
• Safety- and quality-oriented attitude presentation and leadership by example.
• Engineering and procurement support with takeoff, vendor solicitation, and subcontracting.
