Esler Companies - Renewal by Andersen seeks an Events Team Manager to lead a high-performing team in generating quality leads through events, home shows, and retail partnerships. You'll split your time between the office—where you'll assist with building the team, researching and scheduling events, and in the field you'll assist with developing and coaching teammates. You'll also assist with new hire classes and ongoing training.
Responsibilities:
- Research new events and other business avenues to help department growth.
- Pull and analyze data from key performance reports.
- Manage team to meet key performance metrics.
- Drive a team-oriented, high-energy culture focused on achieving and surpassing lead generation KPIs.
- Actively participate in recruiting efforts and refer potential teammates.
- Assist in leading new hire classes and continuing training with teammates.
- Create weekly and monthly plans which include performance goals.
- Foster a culture of encouragement, motivation, and support.
- Set up and breakdown events and home shows, when necessary.
- Ability to lead, develop, and mentor a large team.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and detailed oriented.
- Nurturing and professional attitude.
- Reliable and demonstrates a solid work ethic.
- Microsoft office proficient, especially excel.
- Ability to deliver positive, yet honest feedback to teammates based on performance.
- Ability to organize and prioritize based on the needs of the organization.
- Experience managing a team preferred.
- Must be flexible and able to travel based on business needs, including evenings and weekends (required).
