SUMMARY
Be the driving force behind RbA’s mission to deliver a world-class experience! Align retailers and employees around key objectives to create an innovative, results-driven team of internal and external partners. Collaborate with marketing, sales, retail, IT, and other divisions to champion the Renewal culture and craft strategic communication plans that inspire and engage. Lead the charge in overseeing impactful cause marketing efforts that make a difference and drive business results.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Retail and Employee Communications - Manage the extranet as “editor in chief” and develop a variety of media to drive effective communications throughout the organization, including digital newsletters, videos, presentations, speeches, and live events. Continuously improve communications based on common measurement tools, employee feedback, and internal and external best practices. Partner with enterprise communications team on editorial plans.
Internal “Newscast” Production - Produce a monthly internal “newscast” to keep retailers and employees informed about company news, updates, business objectives, and achievements. Plan, script, and coordinate the production of the newscast, ensuring it aligns with the overall communication strategy.
Thought Leadership - Work with functional teams within the division on special projects such as product rollouts, customer experience objectives, and more. Be a strategic partner to functional leaders to drive these initiatives.
Cause Marketing - Help drive Renewal’s Difference Maker culture by promoting and co-managing our Cares program. Rally the retail network and teammates around campaigns and initiatives that drive culture, build the brand, and make customers proud to do business with Renewal.
Crisis Management and Media Relations – Provide guidance and assist customer service as needed with messaging for escalated homeowners.
Direction of Others – Lead a team and serve as the point of contact for external vendors.
QUALIFICATION, SKILL AND/OR COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- 7-10 years of communications experience in journalism, communications, public relations, or marketing.
- Exceptional writing skills with a proven ability to craft compelling, clear, and persuasive content across various formats and platforms.
- Strong storyteller with a passion for creative messaging that inspires actions.
- Strong public speaking, writing, editing, and content creation skills.
- Proficiency in multimedia content production, including video, photography, and graphic design.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with internal communications platforms and digital signage systems.
- Strong analytical skills to monitor and assess communication effectiveness.
Salary : $108,000 - $168,000
