POSITION SUMMARY
Performs all duties of Payroll Specialist and other duties including; balancing and controlling earnings and deduction totals. Audit automated system output such as registers and standard reports, determining out-of-balance conditions, process reconciliation and data entry for absence under the leave programs, garnishments, and other withholding orders. Administration of PTO program and may take part in training less experienced payroll practitioners.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining compliance on incoming garnishments withholding orders
- Performs effective auditing and controls for accurate pay
- Balance and control of PTO programs
- Processing various payrolls
- Maintains accurate detail and pay data for disability programs
- Facilitates and maintains documentation for processes
- Ensures compliance of time and attendance data
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Associates degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years payroll/accounting experience.
- Very detailed oriented
- Must be able to work under tight deadlines and meet deadlines consistently.
- Excellent customer service and overall understanding of finance
- Strong organization skills, time management and prioritization.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- CPP certification preferred, FPC required
